On May, 7th 2025 Prof. Dr. Andreas Brunnert will give a presentation on „How to measure the Software Carbon Intensity (SCI) of your cloud software with OpenTelemetry and Cloud Carbon Footprint“ at the Quarterly Meeting of the IT Sustainability User Group . In this presentation he will talk about how you can use our new RETIT OpenTelemetry Extension (https://github.com/RETIT/opentelemetry-javaagent-extension) to measure the Software Carbon Intensity (SCI) of your software.
